Here is something phenomenal, I have to share with you all:
A mother cichlid keeps her babies in her mouth to protect them. Sometimes she let’s them out as shown above. Her mouth serves as a nest and nursery.
It may seem like a good system, but it’s not exactly.
Let me introduce these guys:

These catfish are notorious parasites. The catfish try and pick up a few of cichlid eggs. The mother defends her station, while the catfish drop a few of their own eggs. They know the cichlid mother will pick them up and think of it as her own egg.

So the cichlid become a surrogate mother for the offspring of their enemy. The catfish take off soon, not knowing what’s becomes of their young. The cichlid mother does her job, letting her brood grow in her mouth.

Like in a horror movie, the catfish eggs hatch first. The baby catfish gobbles up every single one of the cichlid babies.

The cichlid mother releases, not her own babies, but the killer catfish baby that ate of all her own children.

The cichlid mom doesn’t realize the switch and treats the catfish baby as if it were her own.

A morbid, ironic twist. Here’s the video for this

OHANA MEANS FAMILY
VIVA LA PLUTO FUCK YOU

PLUTO IS CRYING

OK MOTHERFUCKERS I DONT WANNA HEAR ANY OF YOU BITCHING IF YOU DONT EVEN TAKE INTO ACCOUNT ERIS WHICH IS FUCKING BIGGER THAN PLUTO.

Fuck off, you crybabies.

well, the scientific community is not so sure any more. New pictures have shown that Pluto to be bigger than what they thought in 2006 and Eris to be smaller but denser.

To be a planet you need to

  • orbit around the sun
  • to have a nearly rounded shape
  • and have cleared its orbit from other objects

Now Pluto orbits the sun, is believed to be a rounded shape but hasn’t cleared it’s orbit because of Neptune. But critics say that Earth orbit isn’t cleared either because we have asteroids in our orbit.

Pluto also has 5 moons. The names are

Charon discovered in 1978

Nix discovered in 2005

Hydra discovered in 2005

Kerberous discover in 2011

and finally Styx discovered in 2012.

Not only that scientist have discovered that Pluto has a stratosphere

Now please take your 2006 way of thinking and throw out the window because what might be true today may not be true tomorrow.

A tiger walks into a liquor store…there’s no punchline here.

Is that… a frisbee?

He just wants to play catch

What I love is that it obviously takes the person at the counter a few seconds to process that that is in fact a tiger.
Like, you kinda see their brain going “dog, nope, cat, big cat, big cat with stripes, SHIT, tiger!!!”

And the two people who go dashing out with the distinctive “I have just encountered an unexpected tiger SHITSHITSHITSHITSHIT” run.

I like that the second guy leaves the chips or whatever those are. Like, he’s running and falling because TIGER but he will not accidentally shoplift

Hooray! It’s time once again to visit the Duck Fashion Show, where haute couture meets sassy waterfowl models. For the past 30 years Australian farmer Brian Harrington has been dressing up and showing off his Famous Ducks at the Fashionable Ducks Show, held during Sydney’s annual Royal Easter Show. Harrington works with a professional dressmaker who individually styles each duck in an impressively elaborate costume. The outfits range from day and evening wear, in both modern and period styles, to fancy bridal wear. Each year the beautifully dressed-up ducks waddle parade along a duck-sized runway before an enthusiastic crowd that numbers in the hundreds.

Visit Brian Harrington’s website to learn more about his fabulous Famous Ducks.

Most people give the homeless change or leftovers, Mark Bustos is cutting their hair

For the past few months, New York City hairstylist Mark Bustos — who normally spends his days working at an upscale salon — has been volunteering on his days off to offer haircuts to homeless people he sees on the street. With a simple phrase, “I want to do something nice for you today,” he has been helping people get a fresh, uplifting makeover.

For people who have been trapped in a cycle of poverty, unemployment and homelessness, the makeover can also serve a useful function: looking presentable for a job.

Inspiring thanks he received from one man | Follow micdotcom
